Thirteen Livingston Manor FFA members competed in the District 2 Leadership Development Event at Schoharie Valley High School on Feb. 8. 

Four students advanced to substates at Schuylerville Central School on March 15: Sixth-graders Kara Didrich and Cora Freidenstine in Junior Extemporaneous speaking, ninth-grader Andrew Freidenstine in Junior Creed Speaking, and 12th-grader Cassie Wolcott in Senior People in Agriculture. Also participating were sixth-graders Abigail Oliva in Junior Extemporaneous Speaking and Anthony Heusel in Junior Creed Speaking; seventh-grader Connor Casey in Junior Creed Speaking; ninth-graders Justin Dutcher and Kara McGrath in Employment Skills, Matthew Dutcher in Senior Extemporaneous Speaking and Trevor Wolcott in Junior Creed Speaking 10th-grader Jordan Edwards in Senior People in Agriculture; and 11th-grader Savannah Ward in Senior Creed Speaking. 

Sixth-grader Amelia Acosta and senior Jordyn Jones volunteered at the event, and Ms. Jamie Snow chaperoned the trip with FFA advisor, Mrs. Jessica Freidenstine.
