LMCS made a showing in the Livingston Manor "Trout on the Range" trout parade on Jun e 8, including the class of 2025, and more than 50 students in fifth through 10th grade taking part in a marching band.

The fifth graders graduated from the 10-week Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Program on Thursday. Officer Beebe equipped the students with valuable tools to navigate life's challenges. They learned to resist peer pressure, make healthy choices, and manage stress effectively. These skills will empower them to lead productive and drug-free lives. Special recognition was given to six students—Joseph Crespo, Miguel DeJesus, Abigail Buck, Charlotte Park, Kylie Davis, Rhema Plenty— for their award winning essays. Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty joined the students for the graduation

On Wednesday, 6/5, at 6:00 PM in the band room, we’re hosting a Band Informational Meeting for all parents of band students in grades 4-12. Join us to learn about rental options, instrument care, student expectations, performances, and opportunities. You can even rent instruments to take home for the summer. We hope to see all band parents there!
On Memorial Day, the LMCS Interact Club marched in the parade and presented and dedicated one of the Trex benches to all the Veterans with a special thanks to and in honor of Veteran Gene Froehlich. The bench will be at the Veterans park.
Livingston Manor hosted Author Day for students in pre-k through sixth grade on Wednesday, May 29.
Pre-k through second grade meet with author and illustrator Jannie Ho, whose works include "Bear and Chicken" and "The Lost Mitten," while the older students heard from author Anica Mrose Rissi, author of the "Anna, Banana" chapter book series and other books for children and young adults. The authors shared their creative journeys and the magic behind their stories. They were also welcomed to a luncheon meet and greet with staff.
